Child Sexual Abuse: Make laws better by speaking out at legislative hearings

Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Amendment Act of 2007

You can now download the written testimony that Vicki Polin supplied to the city council at the hearing in Washington, DC.

If you were abused in DC, lived or worked there or if your offender lives there or works there -- it's not to late to submit your own written testimony. For more details in how to do this e-mail Sarah Butler.

Below is the link to watch the entire 6 1/2 hour hearing. The Awareness Center's hope is that by watching it more survivors will get a feel for what happens at a hearing like this and the next time we have a call for survivors more Jewish survivors will feel comfortable speaking out and sharing your story in hopes of making laws better in the United States and abroad.
