(CBS4) LAKEWOOD, Colo. Would you let a registered sex offender into your home? You may already have.

A CBS4 investigation has found a local heating and air conditioning company that has been sending registered sex offenders into people's homes.

It's a case of buyer beware; there are no state or local government background checks required for heating and air conditioning repairmen.
