Counselor arrested for sex abuse

A counselor at a beit midrash in Tel Aviv has been arrested for carrying out indecent acts with some of the students, police said on Friday.

The police picked up the 28-year old Jerusalem resident following a number of complaints they received last week.

The suspect was remanded in custody until Tuesday by the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, which also issued a gag order on disclosing his identity.
