Canonist Blog: From David Pollack - Case of Rabbi Mordecai Tendler

David Pollack Says:

To the Bloggers

On Tuesdays, April 11, 2006 a termination letter was hand delivered to Mordecai Tendler. The letter was written after a meeting of the Board of Directors at which a major resolution was passed to end the relationship. The entire process was done in accordance with both the Halacha and the secular law to protect KNH.

Thank you for the support and assistance provided in helping resolve this very difficult situation. Many posters have played a very significant role in forcing further investigations into the serious charges.

I further wish to thank the many community Rabbonim that have stepped forward to provide us with assistance, courage and legal support.

At this time, I ask all the bloggers to please reframe from any further derogatory remarks and inappropriate postings. Now we are entering a critical time period and are faced with the arduous tasks of repairing many broken friendships. I suspect this will be our greatest challenge.

“A time to rend and a time to heal …” Kohelet 3:8

Wishing Everyone: Chag Kosher ve Saymayach!!
