How will this be kept safe to ensure that predators don't try to attend or try to intimidate those who do?
First I want to remind everyone that Survivors of Sexual Violence have a right to heal!
Networking with others is vitally important, and extremely empowering.
The networking/self-help meeting is ONLY open to survivors of sexual violence. All others will be asked to leave.
The meeting is being held on private property. We WILL ask individuals to leave if they attempt to harass or intimidate anyone.
If anyone attempts to intimidate a survivor who is trying to come to a self-help meeting let us know and we WILL immediatly call the police and advocate criminal charges be pressed.
If you know of another survivor, you might want to car pool with them. If you need a ride call The Awareness Center and we will try to help you find one. 443-857-5560
If you don't feel comfortable coming to this meeting, you can always come to the next.
