Update on the Case of Aron Tendler of LA

For those of you who are unaware there is a discussion about Rabbi Aron Tendler of California going on here on Steven I. Weiss's Blog "Canonist".

I just read a comment that I wanted to bring to everyone's attention:

RE: Mandated reporters under California law

The following people should be investigated for NOT reporting suspicion of child abuse:

Rabbi Marvin Hier, Dean, Simon Wiesenthal Center / YULA

Rabbi Meyer May, Executive Director, Simon Wiesenthal Center / YULA

Rabbi Shalom Tendler, Rosh Yeshiva, YULA and Rabbi of Young Israel of North Beverly Hills

Dr. Bruce Powell, General Studies Principal, YULA

drheldp.ic0.gif (11815 bytes) Dr. Michael Held, School Psychologist YULA

p.s. This won’t be the 1st time Wiesenthal will pay to shut a story down. A few years ago they paid off Dr. Gerald Margolis’s secretary over $100,000 - The reason: sexual abuse by her superior…who was shipped off to the ADL.

going after Dr. Powell is really low. The man is one of the most dedicated educaters around. I am sure he had nothing to do with any of this. Get your act together.

Not sure where your information is from anonymous. Powell is guilty of either participating in the cover up or standing by while it happenned. He was privy to the investigation 20 years ago and used bullying tactics then as he is now to keep the story under wraps.

R. Heir and R. May were involved in the SW Center and essentially had nothing to do with the school other than sharing the building.

I think for survivors blogspot, if you bought groceries at the same grocery store that it is alleged that rav aron and girls parked at, you are guilty because you should have stopped the insanity, so Rabbi Hier and May who shared an enclosed structure are a fortiori guilty.

No clue if all of those with the last name starting with t are also guilty. But I hear the bloggers are on the case.
