To be frum, or Not to be frum --- That is the question?
You grew up orthodox, you were molested or sexually assaulted by someone who was frum, how do you integrate that into your life. You start looking else where.
You are an incest survivor, grew up in the non-orthodox world, you start looking into your own spirituality and are becoming more observant -- but your confused. Are you safe in the Orthodox world?

the frum community is no safer than any other.
There is no help for Jewish Survivors of Sexual Violence in the large community I live in. There is support for Jewish Domestic Violence survivors, but not for people like me. I was referred to a book "Shine the Light" but that was all the help I received.
I find support from other survivors but they don't seem to understand the specific dynamics within Jewish Families. Just last week, one woman looked at me in shock after I disclosed and replied "I didn't know that happened in Jewish Families" !!!
