Rabbis Who are Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

Where do rabbis who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse go to get support? I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for them?

I'm sure you are out there, so I'm curious what can we do to get you to talk? We keep hearing about boys being abused in yeshivas. Where do you turn? Did anyone believe you if you tried to get help?

I am not a rabbi, but a very close friend of mine is. I'm going to tell him about this blog. I think it will be helpful to him.

I think because he share the fact that he is also a survivor, it has helped me immensely when he has shared his experiences, and how he has a better understanding of G-d because of it.

Remember not all rabbis are men. There are also female rabbis who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault as adults, and sexual harassement from those who oppose the notion of female rabbis.
