Case of Morton J. Ellin, MD - Pikesville, MD

Case of Morton J. Ellin, MD
Past Chief of Medical Staff, Northwest Hospital (Baltimore County General Hospital) - Randallstown, MD

Morton J. Ellin, MD Past Internist and Family Medicine specialist confessed to having inappropriate sexual connect with a patient approximately 100 times.

One of Dr. Ellin's past patients was first sexually victimized in 1958
during a house call to her parents home. The Survivor was nine years old at the time.

Dr. Ellin denies any sexual contact with her as a minor, yet confessed to having relations with her soon after she reached adulthood.

This survivor of Dr. Ellin states that the sexual contact was not consensual. She feared that if she didn't participate Dr. Ellin's threats would come true. She was repeatedly told by him that if she didn't comply with his sexual demands he would write false statements in her medical records which would result in her being committed to a psychiatric hospital. The survivor felt that because she had been hospitalized for depression as a teenager his word would be believed above hers.

Morton Ellin was born February 26, 1930. He was originally licensed to practicing medicine on July 21, 1954. In 1988 he lost his certification as a Internist and family practitioner; and earlier this year (2007) he lost his medical license in the state of Maryland.

Morton Ellin is believed to still be a member of
Chizuk Amuno Congregation, Pikesville, MD.
