Cantor Pleads Guity to Sex Abuse Charges

New York City Cantor Howard Nevison pled guilty this morning in Norristown to charges that he sexually abused his nephew.

The incidents happened in Lower Merion, in the mid-nineties, when the child was between four and eight years old.

Nevison pled guilty to five misdemeanors, and could face up to 19 years in prison when he is sentenced later.

Montgomery County prosecutors dropped a felony charge against him, and said the victim's family wanted to end the case now before a trial.
